GDPR Introduction

The European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a regulation that aims at unifying EU member state data privacy regulations into a single regulation. This page describes how Vectify handles personal data for people who create a Vectify account and use the AI SVG generator.

Vectify is an account-based design tool. We process data about you as a Vectify user (name, email, usage, and generated files), not data about your own end customers.

Vectify and GDPR

If we did not answer your questions on this page, email support@vectify.app.

Payment data is processed by Stripe, which acts as a payment processor for token pack purchases.

1. Awareness

People responsible for software development and infrastructure maintenance of Vectify are aware of GDPR requirements and review changes that affect how account data is stored or processed.

2. Information we hold

Vectify stores data about Vectify account holders:

3. Communicating privacy information

Privacy details for Vectify accounts are described in this page and in our Privacy Policy.

4. Individuals' rights

5. Subject access requests

Vectify replies to access requests under 1 week (the legal limit from GDPR is 1 month). Email support@vectify.app to request access, correction, or deletion.

6. Lawful basis for processing personal data

We process account data to provide the service you requested (contract), to take payment (contract), and to keep the service secure (legitimate interest). Marketing emails are sent only where you have a relationship with us and you can opt out.

7. Consent

You create a Vectify account by signing in with Google. Prompts you submit and illustrations you generate are stored so you can preview and download them. Cookie preferences are collected through the notice on the site.

8. Children

Vectify is not directed at children. Our Terms require that you are above the age of 18 when you create an account.

9. Data breaches

We monitor unauthorized access and use standard cloud security practices (access control, encrypted backups where applicable, and dependency updates). If a personal-data breach must be reported, we will follow GDPR notification rules.

10. Data Protection by Design and Data Protection Impact Assessments

When Vectify adds features that store new personal data, we review whether the data is necessary to provide the generator, payments, or support.
